This can happen to everyone: The bath or sink will be damaged. This is not only annoyingly – something that usually costs a lot of time and money. This means that such chips can be quickly and easily removed yourself.

Expertly repair impact damage and chips on bathtubs, sinks and kitchen sinks made of ceramic (porcelain), enamel and acrylic in 4 easy steps!

For repairing impact damage in the kitchen and bathroom

Complete set for 7 repairs

This set contains: 2K filler 30 g, hardener 8 g, for filling the damage + repair spray 50 ml as top coat, for an evenly smooth surface + spatula + sandpaper for ceramic, enamel and acrylic. The product content is sufficient for seven average repairs.

Preparation

Make sure that the damaged area is clean, dry and free from grease. Remove rust and loose parts, do not sand the surface. Then clean the damaged area with grease-free acetone or thinner.

SPACING

Mix the required amount of filler well with little hardener. Mixing ratio 30 parts filler: 1 part hardener. This corresponds roughly to the size ratio of walnut to pea. Smooth out the damaged area cleanly, smooth out and allow to harden. Drying time 3 hours at room temperature, heat accelerates less than 15 minutes.

Sanding

Sand the putty point clean on ceramic and enamel with brown sandpaper, so that no protrusions or holes are visible. On acrylic, use the enclosed grey wet sandpaper moistened with water. Then remove abrasive dust and clean the surface.

Spray… And you’re done!

Shake spray for 3 minutes. Spray the paint thinly from 15 to 20 cm distance. A stencil made of paper or cardboard (hole size corresponds to the size of the damaged point) makes spraying easy. To do this, hold the template 1-2 cm above the damaged area, start spraying on the template and pull the spray can over the opening. Repeat the process after one minute until the damaged area is completely covered…done! The repair is fully resilient after 4 days.

For ceramics, broken shards can be reapplied with the mixed filler Multi-layer application possible, therefore ideal for small chips in the sink and in the kitchen sink. Replacement spray for repair kit The spray paint is permanently resistant to splashes of water, but not suitable for the repair and coating of baths or sinks.

Note on sanitary white: Sanitary colours are not standardised such as RAL or Pantone colours. Using the original templates from leading manufacturers we try to achieve the broadest possible compliance with our sanitary colours. If your bath is not older than 15 years old, usually the colour 080 Alpine white (grey white, almost light grey) is the matching one. This also applies to wash basins. Older baths and individual acrylic tubs are often much whiter. It is best suited to the colour 002 pure white. Our tip: Place a white sheet of paper in the tub. If the bath paint now appears much darker (greyer), you have a white-alpine tub (white alpine has about a market share of 90% in the whites).
