Application: Allow 10 to 15 minutes to steep a small spoonful of senna in a cup of at least 140 ml of boiling water. Senna is used to cleanse and detoxify the body.

In the right dose, it has a cleansing effect on the intestine. This effect is beneficial as soft stool is easier to defecate than hard stools that can be painful.

The recommended dose is usually 1 to 2 g of leaves of senna per day. The absence of results after four days requires medical consultation.

It is usually advisable to drink one infusion per day, usually in the evening before bedtime.

Senna should not be used in people with heart disease in children under 12 years of age
