Product description:

With the smart sun and wind sensor, you can control smart devices from the area of roller shutters and sun protection depending on the weather, e.g. awnings, roller shutters, blinds, tiebacks etc. The sensor measures the brightness and wind speed in real time.

It can be adjusted to brightness values in the range of 1 kLux to 99 kLux and reacts to the sun after 10 minutes and to shade after 20 minutes. The wind sensor can be individually adjusted for wind speeds between 10 and 99 km/h. After two seconds limit value exceeded, e.g. an awning can be automatically retracted. The sun and wind sensor is powered by a solar cell. An integrated battery provides the device with the necessary power for twenty-four hours in the event of a lack of sun.

As the sun and wind sensor does not require a power connection, you are flexible when placing the sensor. The pivoting bracket also allows you to mount wall, ceiling or roof. The device is quick and easy to assemble, ready to use and can be connected directly to smart devices, e.g. roller shutter motor premium smart, roller shutter actuator smart or smart RolloTron belt winder. The integrated test function allows very short response times to light and wind movements to check the desired function without long waiting.

The sun and wind sensor can be used for a stand-alone solution as well as a system solution in combination with the Gateway premium. This means that you can use your smart devices (e.g. roller shutter motor premium smart, roller shutter actuator smart) directly to the sun and wind sensor and control. The direct registration is at max. 3 smart devices limited. If you want to control more than three devices via the sun and wind sensor, it can be integrated into the HOMEPILOT Smart Home via the gateway. The Homepilot app can then be set up individually routines. Z. The shutters automatically shut down when the brightness is exceeded.

Weather frog – The sensor can control devices from HOMEPILOT (belt winder, motors, timer) by radio when it detects sun or wind. For example, drive your awning in wind to protect it.
Easy to use: the sensor works independently thanks to battery operation and solar power and can therefore be flexibly mounted. Set limits for sun and wind via buttons on the display.
Direct control – connect the sensor directly to 3 other smart devices. For example, drive your roller shutter to the sun position when the sun is shining and keep your rooms cool in summer. Energy efficiency and comfort go hand in hand in the smart home!
