The right time to repott

How many times you should repot your plant depends on the growth but also the age of the plant. This means that young plants are approx. re-potted once a year. If the soil is already fully rooted it is high time for a larger pot. First fill the soil with 1/3 Seramis plant granules. If necessary, you can add some potting soil – it is important that you first fill the pot base with a small layer of clay grains as drainage.

Insert the plant with root balls

Before inserting the plant with root balls, shake off the soil slightly. It is important that between root ball and pot rim approx. 2-3 cm space so that the plant can feel comfortable in the new home. Also worth knowing: With Seramis plant granules, you can re-pot your plant directly into a planter.

Watering made easy: The watering indicator

Fill the remaining granules so that the root ball is now completely surrounded by the clay grains. Depending on your preference, you can mix some soil in between. Finally, insert the practical watering indicator to the bottom edge of the display field directly into the root ball. As soon as the indicator turns from blue to red, you should water the plant carefully.
